Founder Vitalify Nutrition

A successful Marketing Executive, Shiela is now dedicated to helping people regain and maintain health and vitality through whole foods nutrition, custom supplementation and wellness coaching. She received her Nutrition Consultant certificate through California state-certified Bauman College of Holistic Nutrition and Culinary Arts, graduating with honors. She is a member of the National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP). She volunteers for NANP as a member of its Conference Planning Committee, whose charter is to showcase the cutting-edge trends in holistic nutrition and interventions, in today’s healthcare landscape. She is passionate about cooking healthy, tasty and flavorful foods. As part of her practicum work, Shiela conducted the Bauman College wellness program at Cortiva Institute, in King of Prussia, PA. She will be speaking in December at Gulph Mills Chriopratic Center in King of Prussia, PA, about the Eating for Health model. Later in December she will speak at the Surrey Senior Center in Devon, Pa about Healthy Aging. She is planning to publish a monthly newsletter later this year. Shiela offers comprehensive support in one-on-one consultations that offer diet analysis, cooking demonstrations, shopping instruction, and individualized dietary and nutrient recommendations.

Shiela also practices what she preaches. She is a fitness enthusiast, who has received a first degree Black belt in Taekwondo. She has been practicing yoga her whole life and recently became a certified yoga instructor. She received her yoga teacher training (250 hours) at the Yoga Life Institute, in King of Prussia, PA, formerly in Devon, PA. She is passionate about yoga as a tool kit for life and is committed to sharing her experience with others so they can reap the benefits of yoga. She has taught at the summer program of Upper Merion Parks and Recreation Office and at various fitness facilities across the Philadelphia region including vinyasa flow, pranayama and meditation.

Shiela, her husband Girish, and son Nikhil, enjoy the great outdoors, including hiking, biking and walking along the Appalachian trails in and around their home town of Wayne, PA. Recently in 2016, they hiked in Cairngorm National Park, Scotland, ascending CairngormMountain, to 4,085 ft. She has also trekked to fifteen thousand feet in the Himalayas during a 20-day hiking expedition on the Pir Panjal mountain range in Jammu and Kashmir, India.
